Creating a Seasonal Duet: Flowers that Sing. The Design Committee will demonstrate how to create an arrangement with two complementary elements using seasonal flowers and foliage. Bring a pair of containers that share shape, material, or color -- or mood or style. Sue Zacharias and Carolyn Ellis will demonstrate how to incorporate the principles of design – balance, dominance, contrast, rhythm, proportion, scale – to create a successful arrangement. This workshop is in preparation for the November Sweet Tray competition. The fee for the workshop will cover materials.
